Amsterdam – Interior update.

On my way around Amsterdam collecting street art pics, I popped into som really cool interior shops. Shopping can really cheer a girl up, so here’s my top three shops.

1. People have loved Droog for a long time, and now you can check into Hotel Droog. If you have some serious money to burn, you can rent an extremely cool rooftop apartment. In addition you can have your meals in their café and have your hair done in the in-house salon.

2. The Frozen Fountain is similar to another favourite of mine, HAY, but is featuring a number of unique Dutch artist featured in the shop. Tim Enthoven as my favorite, amnong many others.

3.HearHear is a tiny shop that kan provide one-of-a-kind items from around the world. Get lost in wooden bowties, handmade postcards and leather bags and backpacks.

Autre Ne Veut @ Blå

What started out as a normal Thursday completely changed when I realised that the fresh new American act “Autre Ne Veut” was in town and would be playing at Blå.

Hunky Arthur Ashin and his two musicians really blew me away that night, with Arthur’s voice bringing tears to my eyes. Thank you for an amazing night, Autre Ne Veut!

Justin? Justin aka Nobunny, that’s who!

One of my great friends took me to a concert with Justin aka Nobunny last Tuesday. It was a kick-ass concert and I fell in love with the band, playing a mix of lo.fi garage punk and power pop.

After the concert I strolled backstage for a huddle and a cuddle with Nobunny himself . I’m in love!

International Women’s Day

Happy birhtday to all my fellow sisters! Today we celebrate International Women’s Day, it was actually originally called International Working Women’s Day. The day is marked on March 8 every year. In different regions the focus of the celebrations ranges from general celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women, to a celebration for women’s economic, political and social achievements.

This year, in Norway we also celebrate the 100 years anniversary of womens right to vote!
